The Kikidex Magnetic Drawing Board – A Toddler’s Best Friend
I was recently asked if I would like to review the Kikidex Magnetic Drawing Board from Kikidex. Suitable for toddlers, I thought I would give it a try as I have a two and a half year old who I thought it would be perfect for. I am looking for fun toys and products that will entertain and educate her.

It was sent very quickly via Amazon – you can pick yours up here. The packaging is super simple, it tells you exactly what the product is, giving you all of the information that you could possibly need.
Something I love is that you can see the colour of the Kikidex magnetic drawing board from the outside of the box. There are multiple colours to choose from including dark blue, green, light blue, mint blue, purple, rose and soft pink.
I opted for purple as it seems to be my daughters favourite colour!

Something else I really liked was how quick and easy it was to put together. It comes with the board which has the drawing utensil already attached. The four legs are separate but these take mere seconds to screw in – and time is of the essence when you have an impatient toddler desperate to try out their new toy!

But what did we think of the item?
First of all, I want to again mention how good it is that it is so quick to put together. Plus point number one. Secondly, I love the colours. I know toddler items are meant to be vibrant in colour but all too often, they don’t resemble what you see on the screen when ordering. The colour of this board is just as vibrant as shown when ordering, if not more so.
The board itself is super stable and sturdy – my daughter has used it sitting on the sofa or sitting on the floor and it stays put no matter what. We have also removed the legs at times to make it more portable so she can carry it wherever she likes.
My daughter loves drawing and had been using a smaller board but this has become her new favourite. She has a much bigger space to draw (the drawing area is 8.7 inches!) and since it has arrived, she has barely spent five minutes away from it. Her other toys have been discarded and even the tablet and the TV aren’t getting a look in. I love that she is so happy using it and being creative as this helps to promote both cognitive development and artistic expression.
With Christmas rapidly approaching, this Kikidex magnetic drawing board is certainly a must have for any toddlers – it is super affordable, coming in between £20 and £30, and is great for helping them unleash their creativity!
